Panchmarhi - Calling from the Queen of Satpura

Do you see her? Can you hear her? Are you willing to feel her?

She is the queen of Satpura, Madhya Pradesh. She is Panchmarhi. And she is calling out to you all.

As soon as you enter her realm an earthy smell mingled with a woodsy fragrance will instantly hit your nostrils. Tossing the worldly woes in a jiffy you will find yourself in a forest that is so age-old yet there is almost a child-like enthusiasm. Here there is silence in no silence and nature has a way to communicate with you like no other.

Crunching along the leafy pathway you will be accompanied by the sound of relentless crickets. Just behind your back, away from your hearing range, you can feel the trees whispering. Morning dews have settled comfortably on the green moss carpet. Sometimes sparkling like a silver globule under whatever sunlight manages to penetrate through the thick canopy above.

Here misty veil rises as if from the witch's cauldron, transporting you into a magical landscape. Panchmarhi has more to offer than just a dense forest.

While Rajat or Silver, Apsara and Bee Falls make up for her long silvery manes. Handi Kho with its acres and acres of forever greenery forms her attire. Panchali Kund and Panchmarhi Lake at the foothills add to the décor while Priyadarshini Echo Point is exactly where she calls out to her visitors. And if you want to reach out to her very heart make sure you stop at the temples of Mahadev and Gupt Mahadev.

Panchmarhi is rightfully a queen as she is called for she touches every heart that visits her with a magical wand making you believe there is a world different from where we live right in the middle of it. All you need to do is to pay heed to her calling.
